It worked! The left hand is interchangable as well I drilled a small hole for a piece of paperclip and the magnet in the torso is just strong enough to keep it steady. Here is the Witch-King with and without his morningstar: And the regular Nazgûl: Also I glued some more orcs together: The Darkness is growing in the East Grrr, !mrahil
I couldn't resist working on more Nazgûl models. So this time the winged mount model got some well deserved attention. It is a big model. And ofcourse all options are build interchangable: Grrr, !mrahil
It had 6 different bottles of wine in them. Company Christmas gift (I still have 2 more of these lying around, from earlier years) Grrr, !mrahil
At the moment the serve as wedges to keep each shelf in place (normally there is some clearance in those things to make sure they always will fit) And I haven't yet decided if I wil cut them to size or keep them to potentially hang things on Grrr, !mrahil
Jealous We've got small (really small) bottle of fake champagne and cup with company logo on it. Cut them. Without proper base (or fixation to wall), you are risking that whole rack falls onto w.i.p. models when you take few paint bottles and it looses balance
My company Christmas present this year was my paycheck, and being in one of the only departments that isn't getting their hours cut because someone in management is trying to toady up to the shareholders and raise profits...
That is hard to hear, man. Glad your hours haven't been cut. I wish you all the better/best for 2023 Grrr, !mrahil
I am not the biggest fan of flight stands so I have been hobbying to get the Fell beast standing without one. Pretty happy with the result. Only downside is that the Witch-King and armored head are standing more up-right. Grrr, !mrahil
Thanks man! The Fell beast is not centered above the base, because of the shape of the tree, so I inserted some counterweight under the base. (will take a picture of that tomorrow ) Grrr, !mrahil
Impressive - how did a Two Shilling coin minted in the year of England's World Cup win reach you in Holland?
I used to collect coins, a hobby that started when the Euro was first introduced (2002), mainly Euro coins and since 2008 solely 2 euro coins from all minted years. As a side collection I became interested in the non decimal England coins, particularly the Two Shilling pieces, The have a very nice design and feel great to hold. Through a coin-collectors forum I had a box of coins send to me, with multiple mintage years and also duplicates All of the Euro coin collection has been parted with, only the English coins remained Grrr, !mrahil
Yes, and part of me is annoyed since I actively collect interesting coins from other countries and don't have any shillings. On the other hand, I recognize the usefulness of coins as nice-sized weights...
