Finally finished this set. Some fun freehand stuff going on here, aside from the scales. The carved jade on the armour and the knapped stone on the weapon.
so how do you manage to get little lizard to keep that pose and hold on to there weapon long enough to snatch those pictures?!? i mean unreal man bravo!! question how long does it take you to paint one of these wonderful model?
I think this is the best miniature painting ive seen in my life - this is absolutely nuts. Bravo man! What an inspiration !!
Finally finished my starbloods. My best painting experience so far with Seraphons , can't wait to start painting another one with a different color theme! Maybe even a bit more rebasing or kit-bashing, these sculps are too amazing. As always, comments and suggestions are most welcome. Thank you.
Wow! These are beautifully painted. I love the textures on the skin and all of your use of vibrant colours across the models. Well done
You have seriously done a beautiful job on these!! I like the colorscheme you've used. I love the color on the head piece and the detailed triangles of the Old Blood. The OSL of the Skink Priest staff is a very nice touch and those flames and EOTG 'stairs' make it really scenic. Awesome Unit Grrr, !mrahil
Spectacularly done! I want to pick these guys up, but I am hoping to be able to eventually be able to do as well by them as you have here!
Awesome stuff here! I was quite hesitant to post anything at all, given how you guys perform. But anyway, I‘m a bit proud of my little dudes here and I learned a lot for my future path through the rest of my army.
Wow! No reason to be shy off your work! they look amazing. I love the blue-ish green on the Chameleon Skink. What colors have you used? Grrr, !mrahil
Thanks . For the Chameleon skin I more or less followed Nick Baytons scheme: - Primed with Grey Seer - Gauss Blaster Green (two thin coats) - Kabalite Green + Lahmian wash - Stegadon Scale + Lahmian wash (only deepest recesses and tip of head) - Gauss Blaster Green (relayered flat areas) - Ushabti Bone highlights - Kanalite Green for stripes on tail - Stegadon Scale in center of stripes - Dark Angels Green on scales - Sotek Green highlight on scales
