Ax-rodriq swung his sword in a deadly arc at one of the skeletons, however it was surprisingly swift and it dodged the attack. Using the momentum of his great swing, he then threw himself shoulder first at the skeleton, causing it to collapse in a pile of bones. But to his horror, the creature merely reassembled itself and lunged at him, as if it had never been attacked at all. Seeing his opportunity, Ax-rodriq grabbed ahold of the skeletons arms and used all his might to rip them from the grasp of whatever black magic was holding them in place.

Huaroc, launched into motion. Thrusting the Banner of llok into the ground at the center of the group he pulled out his trusty blow pipe. Pulling out one of his regular darts he quickly dipped the tip into the special poison he was in a pouch and jammed it down the tip of the blow pipe, careful not to touch the mouthpiece.

Next he raised the blow gun to his lips, took a quick aim at a skeleton and blew with a powerful burst from his lungs. The dart sailed out and sunk into the eye cavity of a skeleton. The poison did it's work instantly as he saw the skeleton crumble to bits.

Huaroc pulled out another dart, reloaded and prepaired to fire again.

Ilok had never been awaken so roughly, and he hated it too. But he immedeatly saw the danger, and knew that, if he was going to sleep anytime soon, he would have to pull out all the stops.
Which is exaclty what he did.

Ilok stepped back a few paces, making sure that he had a moment to cast the spell. Waving his hands and muttering a few words, at least: that's what the rest saw, nothing happened.
Ilok remained calm at the gazes of his party members and the evil eye sockets of the skeletons. It seemed that only he knew what would happen.
Without warning, a great white beacon appeared behind the skeletons. Then, in quick succession, more beacons formed around the battle. The battle was now lit up by the bright white light, time would tell how many skeletons could stand up to this fierce magic.
The only harm it would do to lizardmen, was small: it surely removed any sleep left in their eyes!

Ilok saw 4 skeletons crumble to dust from his magic. He kept up his concentration to maintain the spell's effect. It would take a small amount of time before the light could crumble the undead again. So Ilok would have to survive untill then.

((don-kai, a kroxigor whith glowing yellow eyes and a mace of rare blue metal from the mines in akront a small imperial town now conquered and scavenged by the lizardman army led by xili lot don-kai was himself on the frontline and died althogh healed by xili mundi and sent to aid a party of lizardmen by some strange skinks don-kai investigated a kroxigor drooling and vomiting as the skinks were speaking (far to fast for him to get)to the 6 warband leaders or the council of crall salkra.))

from the back of the group a bloodcurdling battlecry in the tune of xililots bassalisks cry and running like a jugernaught into the sceletons advance but only killing one he stumbled and was busy regaining his balance

Hexec spun into action, unsheathing his javelin as Xlan dived to assist the camp. Spying an unharmed skeleton he released his javelin, catching the skeleton in the eye socket, crumbing it where it stood. Like lightning, he grabbed another javelin, sighted another skeleton and fired. The skeleton crumbled where it stood, and Hexec steered Xlan towards the others, seeing that they were all right at the moment.

Two skeletons where left after the lizardmen's quick counter attacks.

The first attacked the terradon rider and nearly struck Hexec but the skink managed to block his attack with his javelin, the two remained there the skeleton pushing down to try to cut through the wooden weapon, Hexec pushing back, so the skeleton's blade didn't connect with his skin.

The second charged with unnatural speed to Huaroc, this was a surprise to Huaroc who hadn't noticed the creature coming from behind him. He turned but too slowly the blade managed to catch him in the head, he fell to the ground face first in a spray of blood from his wound.

Huaroc could barely register the battle going on around him. He was vaguely aware of the warm and sticky liquid ozzing down around his head, face and neck. He didn't feel any pain from the wound as it was so traumatic but the warm blood was comforting to him, almost like the sun was shinning on him from above the canopy.

Huaroc's vision was blurred and he couldn't remember what he was clutching in his fist. It's smooth and hard texture was familiar to him yet he couldn't comprehend what the round object was nestled in his palm.

    Huaroc waitted...

Ilok saw the battle coming to an end, unfortunately that could also be said of Huaroc.
He kept up his concentration, the great white beacons of pure energy still stood. Ilok was pretty sure
the skeletons could not survive a second wave of this force. So, he let the beacons explode in a
spectacular bright white explosion. Surely, no mere skeleton could survive such a blast.

Ilok theb rushed to Huaroc, he cast a simple containment spell to bar out any infections.
He relied on his party members to protect him, if anything would attack him. So Ilok continued with the wound itself, although this was a pretty big one: there was a cure.
Ilok cast another spell, only this time he took his time. He was casting for several hours to help heal the wound. And he would have to do this even longer, fighting against sleep all night long.
The group knew what they had to do, and even Huaroc lay still. As a good patient should.

-8 magic (I totalled it, guessing 8 was the magic number. Kill skeletons+heal)

((oh geez I hadn't even seen this for some reason it never showed in new posts.))
Huroc was healed with more ease than Ilok had imagined as the terrible looking wound was merely a flesh wound. As morning came the group could easily see the presence of darkness in these lands. Though the sun came it was shrouded through a haze of darkness. The air was much colder here which had a slowing effect on the group, as they rose slowly. The began to move through the ever diminishing blighted jungle. The marched for several hours before they came to a massive cliff, there where two tunnels in the cliff one left and one right. Made out of brown sandstone, the rock face was smooth, and at this point they appeared identical.

Huaroc scratched his head where the scar from his last wound was. It was yet another cave system they would need to traverse in order to make it to their destination.

"I suggest we camp for the remainder of the day before we enter this cave. We need to sun as much as possible to get our strength and rejuvinate better. This way we will be ready for the coming battles." He suggested. He wasn't the leader of the group but he hoped his opinion was worth something.

Ax-Rodriq nodded in agreement with Huaroc. The group would surely benefit from a rest, and then they could set out after sundown.

His party had great ideas, and Ilok sure needed the rest. He also would like to gaze upon the stars once more, since it had been a while.
Although Ilok made a small suggestion not to set up camp right infront of the cave. Who knew what might come out?

While the party set up camp some distance from the cave entrance and off the path leading to it Huaroc patroled around it's perimeter to get a lay of the land in the immediate area. Afterwards he climbed into a tall tree to sun himself as much as possible while still able to provide an overwatch on the camp.

The sun was scarce but the little that came through felt nice. The group took turns resting till what little of the sun could no longer be seen. As darkness crept in chilling howls could be felt, and a unnatural cold began to shill the air, followed by an equally eerie fog.

Huaroc returned form his perch in the tree tops and greeted his companions. "Let us be away from this place and onto the final destination of our holy quest." He urged the rest of the group, prepaired the take the lead and blend away once they started.

"I agree with Huaroc. Let us get moving. Though I do not relish the idea of moving into a tunnel. I will be staying on the ground for this battle."

Ilok made sure that the tunnel was illuminated, so that everybody could see clearly. Also, it could make up for some shadows of enemies.
Nobody liked going underground, but sometimes you just have to face your fears.
