The Dark Vengeance ones? They're great models, largely monopose, yes, and they still have autoguns and gas masks so look too futuristic for use in fantasy, but they're great for use as Necromunda Gangers because of their relatively non-Chaotic look. Much better than the Daemon-mask-wearing ones GW have replaced them with since Blackstone Fortress.

..I wish. No, these are S2D cultists. Untamed Beasts, to be specific. If you look at the pic on the GW webstore entry, it is the three on the 25mm bases, each holding two hand weapons, so not only can I NOT use them as Untamed Beasts, I can't use them as Marauders, either. Reavers of Khorne for the Blades of Khorne army, yes, but that's about it...

I have done something that will annoy my gaming friend in Germany. I found another 9 Glade Rider horses at a LHS in their secondhand case, which I will use to make more Centigors... once I obtain more Gors, anyway, since I need heads and stuff.

I primed 4 dwarves with two handed axes and a whole bunch of Lannister swordsmen.

My dwarf project for TOW is on hold until we know base sizes for sure. So these will probably be painted for kings of war. I don't know what color to paint them though. Maybe red and yellow for the guild?

    Thoughts appreciated

I wish I could like that twice. Where'd you find him, you lucky devil?

Bearing in mind Chadrak can only be used in Fantasy, I trust you're now changing to Fantasy as the main game your Beastmen will play?

Ebay, and I can run him as a generic Beastlord, which I will do for now.

Jumping into Star Wars Legion with a Separatist army. No starter box yet, just some STAP riders, two BX droid commando units, and a small assortment of B1 Roger Rogers from an expansion pack.

I just finished painting four dwarves and five swordsmen.

I think I'm going to finish out the swordsman unit next.

My ADD is in control of my hobby decisions again, and suddenly found out that Sisters of Battle Sisters Sacrosanct can carry power halberds... the dialogue with myself went like this:

"Power halberds? That's so cool!" :wideyed: "Yeah... but do we REALLY want to do a Sisters army?" "Well.... um..." :sour: "I mean, they look pretty, but remember, we'll have to PAINT all of that pretty." "Uh..." "With all of those fleur-di-lis and the filligris on the robes and tabards..." "um...." "not to mention if we get Repentia - and we WOULD - then that's a lot of flesh-tone we'll have to do..." :nailbiting: "...nevermind. What else uses power halberds?" "Custodes do?" "True, but we're letting ourselves in for much of the same, aren't we?" "They're not AS bad, since most of the fancy-work is the same color as the armor, just with different highlighting or washes." "On the same 15 sculpts, over and over and over and over..." "Uh........." "Ok, fine, what ELSE can take a power halberd?" "Well... Ork Meganobz or Nobz can... kind of..." "What do we mean, kind of?" "There aren't RULES for it, but I'll bet we could pass it off as something else..." :woot:

Which is silly, but you can scrounge up either the custodes or sisters glaives/halberds as bits from ebay for about $12 for 5, which would be enough for a unit of nobz, and since I'm running my Orks as Deathskulls... you know, the ones who like LOOTING THINGS??? :woot: Yeah, you can see where this is going, so I went on ebay and ordered...

    ...

some old chaos bolt pistols so I can convert my Blood Warriors - turned - Khorne Berserkers to have currently allowed weapon options instead, because ADD. :meh:

Feels like I haven't been on this planet.
Finally got a 3D printer ordered, was on the fence about getting a Mars but was eventually persuaded to get a Saturn 8k. Won't be able to use it for a while as I still need to order the wash/cure machines, resin and so on. Which I am currently browsing the resins at the moment, apparently there is stuff better than the Elegoo. So much research. Also need to sort the electric out in the shed still, as everything else is pretty much done but that.
Do need to get a timetable though because of where I live there is planned shaking going on and it does shift things.
Still have yet to test out the Scale75 paints then might need to think on getting another set as nearly all my white/beige colours have either gone clumpy or water. It's awkward setting up a wet palette at the moment as my sister is staying (nearly three months of this) and her cats always get in the way so it takes longer just to do one thing.
I am trying to find out what type of gloves come with the printer as I have a family member with severe latex allergies and will need to dispose of them properly if so. Should of asked support but I thought a simple google search would of gave the answer.

Planned Shaking??? I'm assuming you're talking some heavy earthmoving equipment, not an expected 'quake or something, right? :wideyed:

I'm just assembling Deffkoptas, realizing I need more bases for said Deffkoptas (some are old sculpts that need the clear flight stems replaced with something more durable and they're on the wrong size bases), assembling Ork Boyz from piles of leftover bits, and Stormboys from piles of leftover bits, aaaaaaand.... well, you get the idea.

I painted this Nun blood bowl team about 15 years ago. I probably need to upgrade them a bit and paint in some eyes.
I finally got around to creating a display base.
I give you... "The Sisters of Immaculate Reception"....

There is a testing facility quite near where I live so there is this planned shaking that goes on with their tests and also the heavy machinery that like to treat the road just outside like a racetrack.
I get told not to worry about the printer but if the trembles actually move things around the house then I can guarantee it will shift a layer or two on a print.

It sounds like you need some kind of vibration-absorbing pad for under the machine. You may want to look into a 1" thick rubber pad. It won't be perfect, but it should help a little.
