Here's the musician! Getting close to finishing, only 4 left. Although with my schedule for the next few weeks it'll be tough getting them done by the end of the month.
Against my better judgement I stayed up very late painting after a long road trip. However, I have the satisfaction of another finished mini! The basing on this one was rather tricky, I spent a bit longer getting the foot position right before assembling the terrain.
Just preordered the Vanguard box that I'll pick up tomorrow super excited to have some more warriors and the troglodon!!
Whew, had a hectic last couple weeks but I sat down today with the holiday and finished up warrior #8! Now just for the last one and the alpha.
I really enjoy looking at this scheme of yours and I look forward to seeing the army come together. I especially love the gold detail on your Astolith bearer.
Finally done!! Painting up these warriors took me like...2 months to do which is crazy, but I'm very happy with how they look. Here's the alpha and then the whole gang. I'm excited to get to work on some Aggradons now!
I've posted the base of my first aggradon in the feathered serpent contest, and here's the first few basecoats on the beast itself. My inspiration for this one is a green iguana.
All finished the aggradon! Just in time for October too Now I gotta finish the rider. I've picked a blue iguana as my inspiration for the carnivores.
Whew, well getting the rider all done took me long enough. Here's the Alpha on the competed aggradon! Plus another close-up of the base.
Wow, so Baldur's Gate has had me by the throat for nearly a month...but I've finally broken free and gotten started on the second aggradon I have. Here are a couple WIP pics.
All finished the second aggradon, just gotta finish up the standard bearer and clean up the attachment point of the feet on the base.
Standard bearer complete! And because I haven't shared it before, here's my reference photo of a Green Iguana that I'm basing my aggradons off of:
Final aggradon from this box all cleaned up and glued together. I've got the base started and I'm really liking how it's coming together. If it wasn't clear before, designing and putting together bases might be one of my favourite parts of the hobby...
Yep I used one of them on my Alpha! This is the first time I've made a base with two though, plus I molded a bit of a nest for this base.
