Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - December 2023 This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple. At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else. Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link. Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link. The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc. You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section. If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress Grrr, !mrahil
I would like to finish those two tanks in progress and maybe finish few minis. December will be bad month for hobbying, as there will only few days out of home.
Leaving aside that for infantry i already went with conversions of cadian squads, i fear the shipping cost from USA to Italy would kill me
Genoa for a day Florence for a day Rome for a day Naples for a day Lecce In Puglia for 2.5 weeks in an unplanned addition to the trip. Coincidentally if you ever need a hotel in lecce I have a stellar recommendation.
For December I’m looking at finish building my Tyranid army!!! start working on painting the Tyranids !! start working on painting the dragons!! that should keep me busy!!!
Final month of the year! Better make it count My plans are: Finish painting the skinks (minus the gold parts probably) Assemble and magnetize the resin kroak And complete, whatever random ideas I'll have (I still have to balance personal and hobby stuff)
13 clanrats have been painted. 6 jezzail teams for a total of 12 miniatures 10 orcs for commission 10 skeleton warriors with spears 1 undead pharaoh on a 32mm base And 6 paint scheme tests, 5 of which have now been put into the paint stripping queue. The purple and blue scheme won out. Shields on the second generation Saurus are still going through trial and error. I'm counting this decent progress at a week into December.
Those two tanks are about 70% done, basecoated three more. Assembled and primed Miasmic Malignifier and painted death guard daemon prince with wings along with four more plague marines that only need basing.
