Current painting desk. Featuring: 5 orruks for Kevin, my commission client. 10 ghouls for my FEC A whole bunch of shields for the emerald host of ka-Sabar
Kruleboyz are almost done. Ghouls are completed and are awaiting basing. Four more skeletons were quickly put together this afternoon, and five Savage orcs for Kevin have had a few stages put on them. It's been a somewhat busy afternoon.
I'd like to register completion and basing of 4 skeleton cavalry. I also based other models requiring it. Final touches after the basing medium dries.
7 swordsmen painted. 1 chariot is almost done. I also finished a dwarf engineer for an acquaintance, however I am waiting on photos until basing is completed.
3 skeletons finally completed because I painted more shields. Horse for one of the knight conversions is done, and has a rider. His shield, and the savage orcs he leans upon, are WIP.
Finished the orcs. The skeletons are also based now. I also primed 24 skeleton cavalry of various types. They are next on the painting list. I've also discovered I need to take upon myself to write down paint recipes again. It's been so long since I painted bone-reapers I can't remember how I painted their armor. Minor adjustments have been made in hobby spaces in my effort to clean and reorganize my projects. I'm actively downsizing my collection. I've listed several of my old painting projects on the Mcdougall Designs webstore in the clearance section. As a result of that downsizing, I am working on picking up fencing gear. I hope to be able to go to the local groups weekly practice soon. This will add a different style of body workout to my usual regimen. Speaking of such, I've decided to try and pick back up walking once a day. I'm supplementing that exercise with 4 sets of 8-10 reps of each arm. I just picked up some Vallejo fluorescent paints, and while I understand the function, the process needs more clarification. I tried some fluorescent orange on some white primed feathers I had laying around, and the effect was rather muted. Going to have to do more research. I've also picked up some uhu glue to try a technique for enhanced splatter effects. I've got a test model lined up though. Anywho, I'm going to dive back into it. I'll report back when I've something else of note.
Next on the block amidst commission items is this big guy and the 5 missing skeleton warriors from the above shown units.
