I bought into the Alice in Creepyland kickstarter a while ago, which was STL files only. I don't have a 3D printer but a work colleague does.
I finally got him to print these for me so am currently in the process of prepping them for painting.
Apart from Alice they are all very creepy. Love the White Rabbit !

Because I'm a hobby butterfly... working on making a Warhammer Quest game for my sons and I. Obscene what those go for and worse I haven't had any luck at flea markets or the like. Going to print the tiles out and put them on solid bases. For now I'll print out the rest of the game but hopefully I'll eventually be able to replace the paper with plastic/metal. I have multiple editions of Spacehulk but never bought Warhammer Quest, something wrong with me.

I loved the original WH Quest from 2013. Far more old school fantasy. Really enjoyable to play and one of the best value for money products GW has ever done. There were so many mini's in the box (even though typical old school mono pose). Bats, spiders, gobbo's, orcs, minotaurs etc.
It was when I bought a dark elf blister to add more monsters that my mate took them off me but gave me some chaos dwarfs and the army book as a replacement which got me started in Warhammer fantasy with the evil dwarfs.
I still have the WHQ box and additional stuff including extra treasure cards and map tiles.

I've bought some of the models randomly not knowing what they were for originally. I have two War Dancers for my Wood Elves and the goblin jester for my greenskins. The pit fighter I got recently in a trade that the guy just randomly threw in. I'm definitely jealous of you having the box.

They sold additional dungeon adventurers separately but also some monster groups in add ons. I bought the orc one with a warlord and other orcs. The orc warlord had a big flowing cloak. I painted an evil sunz symbol on the back surrounded by a black and white chequered pattern. I sometimes pick up that mini to admire my work and think to myself "how the bloody hell did I do that? Its brilliant."

There was also an undead box with 3 skeleton guardians in robes and armour and a skeleton lord on a throne. That one was great as well.

Amusingly when GW still sold bitz I picked up the book from the undead lair to decorate a Ravenwing speeder.

    Gap filling my Dankhold Troggoth.

Why does GW have to cut the model into so many pieces?

Mostly because the ability to slice a vehicle into parts that can lay as flat as possible on a sprue does not translate well into doing the same for anything organic.

If I never have to paint a feather again in my entire life it will be too soon. Almost had an entry ready for the Feathered Serpent contest.

    Painted Slann... check
    Painted Palanquin... check
    Painted base... check

Painted feathers on the staff... F&#K!

Besides some edge highlighting of the gold bits the model was finished... with the exception of the feathers on the staff. Couldn't get them right no matter how many times I tried. Now the detail (which already wasn't great to begin with, as it was a non-GW model) is pretty much gone.

Shelving the model for now. If I ever return to the damn thing I'll probably have to lop the staff head off and find a replacement. I don't like the idea of converting a painted model though!

It sucks tripping up at 99% completion. Oh well! On to bigger and better things.
