It is going to take me several days to assemble the pile, I can spray-prime them, but after my surgery Monday I won't be able to walk for three days...

Had a box Avatars of War Dwarf Seekers delivered today. I've been planning a Dwarf Royal Clan army led by Ungrim Ironfist for TOW. Also bought river trolls for my greenskins.

What am I doing today, hobbywise? Nothing. My copy of Ravening Hordes arrived, but I spend most of the day in the hospital having surgery. I am fine, the leg that was operated on... hurts... but otherwise is fine. Woo, I guess.

Eh, I've been worse. Leg hurts. Hip hurts. Whole thing is wrapped in ace bandages that I'm not allowed to remove until Thursday.

On the plus side, it means I am under orders to sit down a lot, so more time to assemble minis! :)

Huh... Cyborg ostriches... that's a choice... Got a chuckle from me.

What was the thought process that had you decide on cyborg ostriches?

They look more like Cassowaries to me, with the crest on the top of their heads and the especially pointed tails. But casting them as emus of course turns them into a sci-fi parody of the Emu War which is probably what you were aiming for with the sculpting (assuming you were the one who sculpted them?).

Well, in the last week i've managed to paint and decorate the bases of almost the entirety of my necrons & admech armies, plus painting some necrons (heroes & Skorpekh destroyers)

No, one of my hat's is that I'm the manager digital products for Wargames Atlantic.

The crest is a communications fin, and yes the Emu War was R&D.

Working on terrain, mostly for Pulp Alley. The water will also work for Blood and Plunder. I have issues with my buildings in that I keep getting ideas and keep adding details. I'd like to finish the project so I can justify buying/building more buildings. Saving up for the Perry miniatures Zulus, beautiful models.
