    Yeah, that sounds about right. The Sunday before my surgery I was sitting at the work desk on a Sunday (keeping in mind I work retail and don't usually get to do this, but it was REAAAAAAALLLY quiet that day). One of the managers came up to me, we talked about sales, talked about other stuff, he asked me if I was doing anything interesting while recovering from my surgery. I told him about the pile of Ironjawz and the Stompa I had ready to be built while I was on forced chair-rest...

    He said "cool, cool... I prefer Chaos myself, but you do you. Blood for the blood god." As he walked away, I nodded and said "Skulls for the skull throne," without thinking, then realized what he'd said and tried not to laugh my ass off.

    In theory? I would run in terror knowing that I was in the 40K universe. Probably Emp's, as it would be the least likely to kill me and my soul in unpleasant ways. I am fully convinced that if I was in the 40K universe, I would be, in order from most to least likely:
    1: a corpse.
    2: a psyker, and soon to be a corpse or daemonhost (and then a corpse when the Grey Knights show up)
    3: a cultist and soon to be corpse.
    4: a soldier in the Imperial Guard, and soon to be corpse.
    5: a servitor for the Mechanicus because they found me trying to repair machines without sanctified oil.
    6: a Dark Engineseer, because the Mechanicus found me trying to repair machines without sanctified oil.
    7: a normal Engineseer, probably stuck in an Astra Militarum or Administratum warehouse fixing tanks (this one wouldn't be so bad)
    8: Techpriest, but still probably stuck in an Astartes warehouse fixing tanks (again, not too bad)
    9: Living out a peaceful life on some imperial world somewhere in the boonies.
