He's considering either using a Bretonnian Exiles list, an Ogre Kingdoms list or the Wolves of the Sea list I have already posted. Neither of us are looking to create super competitive lists, just balanced ones that would make for a fun narrative battle.
The list sounds nice and cool. But I wonder why do you want your magician fly? He moves already 6 and fly but cannot found a useful magic is worse.. I could understand if you gave him cube of darkness (defensive) a ruby ring or lore familiar. But i don't see really sense in that cloack (unfortunately). About sword of might well on your champion is quite useless, neverless bretonnian get 5+ ward save against St 5 and you give them already -1 AP. I should change it to a biting blade (or even better nothing), your champion is going to die in challenges... Sword of might or biting blade may be better on your hero. Alternatively he could use a good armour save with silvered steel armour and a great weapon (or meteoric iron+charmed shield and great weapon or a magician one). You want your hero stay alive don't forget it Then personally if you play ancient stegadon I should consider the engine of gods, but it's your narrative choice. Have fun!
I don't rate cham skinks personally and you already have 32 skinks. Also having 4 krox is ideal as you won't trigger a panic when a single model dies from shooting. PS. I'm not a l-o official but we are all putting point values on here given the Lizardmen book is a free download
My friend and I have agreed to not go magic heavy, with wizards limited to lvl 2. I decided on the cloak of feathers as I was thinking the mobility of flight would be useful and anyway, I figured it might be more fun having the skink priest zipping around. As for the champion, I gave him the sword of might while thinking about the possibility of my friend going with the Wolves of the Sea list instead. As for the ancient steg, that's based on my WYSIWYG principles, as my ancient steg was assembled with giant blowpipes.
The chameleon skinks were included for narrative purposes. I imagine they were the patrol that first detected the opposing army. The scouting skinks were sent to back them up and act as additional observers.
