I have decided to give the board two uses/layouts
- For the first use/layout the lower section will be painted like water, for a harbor layout. (this is the quickest layout to complete)
- And secondly more tiled floor in the lower section, I have started some sections of this already, but still more work to be done.

The idea is to do both

Here is the finished harbor layout, just water painted on the base board:


And the second one is done with inlay tile 'sheets':


So a little more tile painting will be in my future

That is a lot of tiles to paint. Don't get too cross-eyed!!!

I made a test set up for the harbour board with the things I have yet:



Wishlist:
- a few more buildings
- connecting bridge piece(s)
- wooden docks
- wooden stairs
- stone stairs
- City walls
- City gate house
