Lovely work allround! I dig these very well, love the purple eyes that give them a bit golf personality. These look crisp. The green viser/lenses is a great detail. I love the basing color. What did you use for that? Keep up the good work Grrr, !mrahil
Thanks Imrahil! Bases are primed black, dry brushed white, abd hit with a red contrast or SpeedPaint of your choice. Then drybrush white again, more lightly this time, then hit it with an orange contrast/SpeedPaint of your choice. The bases are wargames Atlantic textured 25mms.
so those 4 got done earlier this week. My bad on not posting them. but then there is also this: My Dark Ages Army builder sets came in. I've already painted 8/96. I'm going to be painting all the men from the box first before I paint Shields. Each set of eight will have a different tunic color, to aid in differentiation. Shields will be painted and attached. Once all of the Infantry are finished, then this set will wait for the second box to be put into process afterwards. After completion of the second box via the same method, these will be based and join the command element.
Oh, I also built both retinues from a Baron's War starter for a painting project/table game at the medieval events I attend.
This is what we're up to. I've also started the next set of eight with yellow tunics. The remainder of the first box are primed, as are the shields. I will begin building the second box tomorrow, however, I will not start painting them until this first box is complete. After these two boxes are done and based, I will get back to to finishing the Barons War plastics for the game board/starter set. Then we'll see where we're at in regards to moving forward.
