    So while I sure it will be hotly debated, the fact the comp is out in the open from Square Based means there will be events with it I am sure

    For those not in the know, what the SB Comp does for us is essentially give us 400 more points, and then everything killed is only worth 83% of its points to you opponent (not including bonus points like banners and killing the general)

    Army building restriction still apply, and no unit over 500 points.

    Slann AND Dual Carno. This higher cap makes me really wish that Stegs hadn't lost the close order bonus, because I definitely would have done a skink chief BSB for high static res if that still worked. Alas we are short 3 wounds for that.

    You don't need 2 carnosaurs with the new rules. you need more infantry and flyers. Carnosaurs aren't soo good against infantry and chariots and you are going to meet a lot of them. Maybe two bastiladons are also good. Terror on Slann isn't so good.
    If you play renegade you don't need either saurus infantry. Just play 2 temple guard units. I can play 19+16 in 2200 points. Better also 3 skinks x10 unit than 2 bigger units

    I agree you need to beef up your heavy infantry, those are too little

    What sort of missions are we doing? Things like King of the Hill are terrific for big slabs of temple guard but in fights the other side can often avoid the blocks.

    Obsidian load stones are good

    Is lore familiar worth it given you have 5 spells? Missing fiery convercation would suck but not sure it's worth the points.
