As per the thread title, if it were up to you, what would be the next Blood Bowl team to be released.


I'd love to see a Slann team, but not as they were back in the day, but our current day version of Slann. Frankly, I'm surprised that a Slann never made it onto the Lizardmen team. They could serve as a cool telepathic quarterback! The team could also feature a Relic Slaan Mage-Priest (star player?) and of course some temple guard. A couple squishy skink priests could be another positional.

The trick would be making sure it doesn't overlap too much with the current Lizardmen roster.
 
There is only 1 team - High Elves.
The others are a waste of time and just variations on humans.
Giants wouldn't work.
There is already Vampires.
Dogs of war is similar to Old World Alliance.
Slann exists in the NAF and Kislev can use the some team rules.
 
I went for slaanesh. It seems fun and perfect in the context

i'm not into blood bowl so i wouldn't know, but i can easily imagine sexy and fast daemonettes as runners, and some dudes with long tongues and / or tentacles as Blockers

That makes sense.

They've got to be one of the leading candidates to be a new team, alongside of Tzeentch and after High Elves. So we might just get to see.

Outside of a scarce few (Keeper of Secrets, Sigvald) they haven't released a really nice Slaanesh model since the 6th edition daemonettes. In the lore they are seductive and enchanting, but the models are always ugly. Sadly, other GW ranges have better Slaanesh models than the Hedonites of Slaanesh do.
