what I plan to do with this odd custom base is have the salamander walking in teh centerwith some small grit and some realistic water. I cant tell if I should glue the sally down first then base or base then glue the sally down
oh after gluing I ran back through it with super glue and let it leak into the cracks, might go over it one more time with project glue
personally, just my opinion, but salamanders and water don't mix. I would rather see a salamander on a jungle base where the grass is burnt from all the spitting they do.
I always like to paint before basing, but thats just my personal opinion. Agreed. I saw a sallie down at my local shop that had scorched grass with some flames and embers across the grass and a flaming palm treeish looking tree jutting up off the base at a slight angle.
well I always paint before I base the model. I would derefore glue the model in place before basing it. that burnt grass would sure be cool.
and technically according to the fluff they arent shooting fire they are shooting more of an acidic venom that burns through armor.
