Koatl’Zeq, Herald of the Upper Winds Blessed by Tepok the Feathered Serpent, Koatl’Zeq is able to glide the wind currents with precision and grace I have some minor greenstuff work to do, but overall this is the final build
Lil greenstuff work on the backsides of the feathery bits. Hiding the joining points of the bits to better resemble the other side with details. Supposed to be the smaller feathers at the base
Really awesome conversion!! The extra feathers and the different icon on the staff really gives the model a change of character. Very lovely!! Grrr, !mrahil
Thanks dude! Yeah, love the feathers, im glad they worked well with where I wanted them. Been saving that staff head from the Spawn of Chotec kit for awhile now! Glad inhad this extra Starpriest just chilling, haha Gonna write some lore, hopefully this week

Nothing toooooooo crazy yet, but we have progress! Beginning some base colors, leaning into what I hope translates to mysterious and cosmic, leaning into the Tepok theme with blues, violets, and pinks as the major colors. Ill be fitting in greens, yellows, and other minor colors in too. More to come
I am on vacation this week in Vail, Colorado. I dont ski, so what do I do for fun whole everyone is out of the condo you may ask? I paint, and this week so far had been great for progress! A lot of gold work, which will eventually get highlights, etc, and working on the feathers on the staff. Gold added to the helmet, trinkets, and one of the bracelets. I think the gold really helps the other colors find some grounding. Used The Fang as the base for the staff shaft, etc and then began adding the gold and genestealer purple to the iconography The gem atm is just a Caledor Blue base & Baharroth Blue highlights so far! All in all, happy with the progress thus far
A little lore Blurb im working on for a new Temple City in Hysh, the Soawning place of Koatl’Zeq Xlan’Luxotl: Xlan'Luxotl is a Temple City within the Realm of Hysh. Settled in the Lumineth Great Nation of Helon, Xlan'Luxotl is a Temple City largely dedicated to the Old One Tepok. The Temple City stretches from the fields below up into great heights above ontop of floating islands. These islands are connected via floating rock paths and hidden wind currents that takes one from one island to the next— if you know where to find them. These islands are close to mountain ranges, where the wind currents can be more unpredictable and violent; perfect for those that venerate Tepok. Founded by the Slann Xili’Tepoqatl, the Temple City was constructed on the backs of Kroxigors and Skinks in haste due to a prophecy foretold. Built as both a fortress and a seat of prophecy, Xlan'Luxotl has mighty high walls to help defend the Sacred Mirror Pools, and other sacred sights, which Xili’Tepoqatl uses to see the Old One's vision of the Great Plan. Xlan’Luxotl is the spawning place of Koatl’Zeq, the Starpriest blessed by Tepok. In truth, Xlan’Luxotl has an increased rate of Tepok blessed spawns, unknown even to Xili’Tepoqatl. The Slann can only speculate, one such speculation derived from broken visions from the mirror pool have to do with a mighty battle to come. The Battle showcases a clash of magic, and a great Coatl shielding the Seraphon against it. From this Xili’Tepoqatl sees the sacred spawnings as Tepok stretching out their wings to protect the Seraphon. This incoming calamity is what the Temple City prepares for primarily, as they deal with the Skaven & Chaos invasions already at hand.
