I like the new Rohan stuff, great to have new poses for the horses. They probably are a bit bigger than the old sculpts, just like the Infantry.

The City of Sigmar stuff looks very thematic. The walking tower si a bit over the top, how would they know how to build cylinders to operate that thing. It looks very out of place and time....

I already spotted several solutions to Rumour Engines. I will be updating them tomorrow.

    Grrr, !mrahil

Couldn't give a toss about Cities of Skubmar, the Guard releases or yet more Lord of the Rings humans in plastic (the Middle-Earth team continuing to be on fine form trying to turn Middle Earth into Westeros) :shifty:, but the new Eshin releases are excellent, about bloody time they made some new Night Runners. Trouble is, I have some of the old monkey-rat ones... though I can at least grab the Gutter Runners, as I have none of the old metal sculpts of those.

Also, love the new plastic Red Terror:

Much bigger than its old 3rd Edition incarnation, but given even the original lore stated that different Imperial Guardsmen kept reporting that it was anywhere between a Ravener and Trygon in size, the new size looks right. A lot bigger than a Ravener but still smaller than a Trygon I think.

Will have to tweak the 6th rules for it in my Ultimate Edition Addendum for the Tyranid Codex now :D

The Cogfort has been in the lore for a fair while, and was, to my knowledge, one of the most requested things to be made a model.

The sound of the stream was shite, but somebody with better hearing than me said that the stream mentioned that the cogforts are built by the dwarfs. And some other details. Like engine core being ejected and airlifted out with balloons if it looks like the Cogfort is going to be lost.

I think the letdown a few people had was the reveal that they are functionally AoS Imperial Knights, who can be attached to any army and not just cities of Sigmar, because they go private contractor.

Nice enough... but let us actually see some of these Dwarfs, not more of the dull generic fantasy manling models :oldman:
To be fair, Sons of Behemat already were AoS Imperial Knights, this is just adding more fuel to the fire.

That's not to say it's a good idea though... Imperial Knights were a horrible idea to begin with.

Hmm, way to take a unique concept for a faction and then just let everybody have access to it instead of being limited to the one faction. ¬_¬

That was probably the main let down I had with the Cities of Sigmar reveal. Still more humans, none of the dwarfs or elves who allegedly call the free cities their home alongside the humans.

But I did get a chuckle at the two giants who are literally holding the two halves of a gate as their shields. That was a nice touch. Though like the ogres, those crows nests can NOT be very stable/steady for the poor gunners in them.

Father Jack? What are you doing? Where're Father Ted and Father Dougal?
