So, I bought a Slann Mage Priest from eBay. It was crappily primed, but it was $20, so couldn't complain. No problem to strip that. However, it did not come with the three spikes that are on the bottom of the palanquin and the plastic stand. I called up games workshop to see if I could buy those, I did it awhile back with another model, but they stopped selling individual pieces like that awhile ago. What do you guys do if you lose or just don't have certain metal bitz? I have tried messaging the seller, but he never got back with me. I do kind of feel like I have done whatever I can, but with my annoying perfectionist mentality, I REALLY want those three little spikes.
if they're the parts I'm thinking of(n the newer slann model) then they should be pretty easy to just green stuff. A fairly competent sculptor could do it, or you could do it by hand. If you don't feel comfortable in your ability to do it you could try asking one of the other players at your LGS if they wouldn't mind doing it for you(this is how i get all my airbrushing done). Alternatively you could, if you have a spare slann, make molds of another set of spikes and copy them. If you absolutely want the metal bits you might try the interwebs, I'm sure theres some site out there selling metal GW bits.
I had the same problem, I believe I ended up cuting the ends off of some ork bow and using them as horns.
It's a conspiracy! I had the same thing happen to me on two separate occasions. One on Lord Kroak and one on my other slann. However, the regular slann has one of the horns, but is missing the other. I have not gotten around to replacing them though.
