    Hello fellow lizards!

I am a casual lizardmen player, and I want an Army that would play well against most opponents, and deal correctly with varied adversaries.

My Slann is there to dominate the magic phase, and inhibit the enemy's. I have a tendancy to play against people for whom all strategy goes through the casting of powerful spells, and this is why I am buying the Cube of Darkness gamble. I have a mixed opinion about my flying scar-vet, but I though that it could also serve as a diversion as my main lines advance. Also, he could help my chameleons.

    Here we go:

525 Slann - Rumination, Becaming Cogitation, Higher state, Focus, Cupped hand, Divine Plaque
295 Skink Priest - Engine of the gods, lvl 1, Cube of Darkness
149 Saurus Scar-Vet - GW, Light Armor, Magic Carpet (warmachine hunter)

270 20x Saurus - Spears, Shields, Full Command
270 20x Saurus - Spears, Shields, Full Command
    75 15x Skink cohort

    235 Stegadon
    96 8 x Chameleons
    84 7 x Chameleons

    150 2 x Salamanders

    Please comment.

Looks pretty casual enough for me :) The Slann looks a little 'decked' though for casual gaming but its a pretty solid list! I like the Flying Carpet Scar Vet.. I don't know why I never thought of it! I'm going to have to steal your idea as well as some 40k Blood Angel wings for a nifty conversion ;)

I'd get a shield for your Scar-Vet, he's running solo so he's going to get shot at. I know T5 is good (very good for a hero character) but he will suffer wounds and you want the best AS possible!

Also I believe 295pts is a bit on the small side for a Skink Priest on an Engine who's equipped like this one ;)

Seems like a fun list, though wolf called it, Im sure the engine itself is 290 + a bare skink priest. The total for what you have should be around 400, though I dont have my book to hand

I like the flying scarvet too. Was about to say something that gives him extra attacked would be great for warmachine killing but apparently point cap after the carpet.
