So I've seen a Slann or two here with a literal Throne of Vines (though I can't relocate the original posts there). The gist is you have vines snaking up and down the palanquin.

I pondered theming a Slann to my favorite lores, Light or Shadow. I haven't come up with any brilliant ideas on that, I came up with ideas for my less preferred lores.

Life Slann: As mentioned before, a literal throne of vines for the palanquin.

Fire Slann: Basically copy a bright wizard’s style and sculpt or kitbash flames on everything. Red Slann would probably work best.

Beasts Slann: Cover the Slann and palanquin with swarm bits and other maybe convert a Sabertusk to a Jaguar and have it tailing the palanquin. Beast lore Slann are more likely to actually fight in close combat given their access to numerous buffs so swapping the Slann's staff with a weapon may make sense. Alternatively swapping the skink attendant with a combat primed skink could be done instead.

Death Slann: Use Kroak as is.

Metal Slann: Paint as much gold as possible. Fashion the Slann a mask similar to Kroak’s. Perhaps armoring the Slann and his attendant.

Heavens Slann: This is the least likely Slann I’d want to try. Basically Tet is the themed Heavens Slann. I suppose painting the palanquin like the night sky might be the way to go.

Shadow or Light Slann: Besides shading or brightening the paint job, I haven’t come up with anything to do special here.

Any additional thoughts on theming a Slann to specific lores, or pictures of people who have already done these things?

Or you could just add candles all over his panaquin for the light slann.

For a shadow slann you could maybe sculpt some sort of hood or something, then paint it so his face is really dark with his eyes glowing brightly or something like that.

My palanquin is painted black with the engraving done in gold like its gold inlay. The darkness of it could work for a shadow slann.

For light slann, you could make it look like he's glowing and lighting up the throne

Nowi know this would be a lot of work but is it possible you could hollow out your slann, add a light and battery, then cut out his cheek spots/ eyes so they glow? Or for shadow do they hood thing from earlier on and use an ominous red light ( idk I'd this is really possible, but in my minds eye I think it could turn out well) also I think this may be possible because I know a guy who hollowed out all his Eldar skimmers and added lights so his engined would glow, if you try it GL you'll need it!!

Posible, but not easy since the Slann is a solid poured chunk of metal.
