So I'm used to cheap plastic minis for my D&D games, but a group I started in earlier in the year uses all hand-painted minis, so I jumped on the band wagon and painted one of my own. I used a paladin mini from the Reaper line. This mini is full of firsts: first time with green stuff (I gave him long hair); first time using water effects (I made him stand on the edge of a creek); and first time free-handing on a smooth surface (take note of the ivy on his shoulder pads). He's still a bit ruff, but I'm proud of him.

Without further ado, here's Elesius in all his summer-court glory!

I wish the creek showed up better, but I'm still very proud.

He looks good! And great work on the free hand, especially if that is your first attempt. Nice work.

Looks good, especially for a first try on all that.

    Great work.
