Long time 40k player here. I have decided to step into the world of fantasy for the first time with an escalation league at my GW. Hopefully by the end of this 3 month league, I'll have 1500 pts painted and have a good understanding of how to play.

This month (starting halfway through, way behind) we are playing 500 pts, no Lords. I've got just a battleforce to work with.

Next month will be 1000 pts where I add a Saurus Oldblood, skink priests, and more skinks.

The third month will be 1500 pts. Still not figured out what will be added to the army at this point level. I'll figure that out after a few games.

As it stands now, I have read through the whole mini rulebook and most of the codex, I'm almost finished painting my Saurus Oldblood, and I'm buying the battleforce this coming weekend.
I've got a lot to learn and a lot to paint, so here we go!

Hope you enjoy playing with dinosaurs and once you get to higher points levels, lots of magic.

I'm mildly curious about adding a 40K army but I can't afford a new army at this time. I'd be somewhat interested in what plays like LM. I'm guessing Sisters of Battle with their short range shooting.
