Hey, sorry for the thread necromancy, but do you have any closer pictures of those awesome Cold Ones? I've got the bits to do the same, but I'd like to see how you reconciled the wider legs on the saurus compared to the Dark Elf Cold Ones. Thanks!
where on earth did you get such a talent; i really like your carnosaur, its totally awesome! and the tetto'eko and the chameleon skinks are wonderful. great painting and what a great looking army: how many points could you get out of the models you have? keep it up.
Holy Cow you're good I joined so I could post I wish I could Paint like that I'm gonna go buy the AB now you've inspired me HOLY COW you're good.
I keep meaning to update this. It's been a while and I've got a lot to show. Stay tuned for pictures at the weekend hopefully. I'll try to get some closer pics. It was really just cutting and filing where the two leg/saddle pieces meet, then a lot of gap filling and re-sculpting. It's very character-heavy so I can pick and choose, but legally around 2500 I would guess. -I never get tired of hearing that, hehe.
Games Day looms ever closer. Here's my Lizardmen entry; Experimenting with obsidian armour and and a proper go at non-metallic gold. The base has chopped herbs as leaf-litter and Empire plumes as ferns. The plinth is made from the lid of a jar of fajita sauce.
Wow! That is a very nice Oldblood! I really like the non metallic gold on the weapon, as the obsidian armour is great too. I hope to see this do well at Games Day.
It was a good Games Day, better than last year. Tuco the oldblood got me another flashy finalist badge! My D'Eldar entry also got to the finals; Ok, so no trophy this year but where would the challenge be eh? Some lovely Lizardmen stuff going on there that I want to share also. (As a disclaimer, none of the following images contain my work) A very nice Armies on Parade entry; One of the main games was a recreation of the defense of Itza. It was staged on two tables, one with Kroak on the grand pyramid with Daemons assaulting across the bridge of stars... ...and the other table featured an actual running water system with a fog machine!
Wow, you have some beautiful work. Love your color scheme as well; it reminds me a bit of what I was planning xD And that defense of Itza scene is brilliant. Thanks for the pictures!
