My lizardmen color scheme (Desert Lizardmen)

I have been thinking about what to paint my lizardmen. How does this sound?

Scales: Sunburst Yellow
Underbelly: Desert yellow
Weapon: Brown and Boltgun Metal
Eyes: Red.

What do you think?

 

i would feel that the sunburst yellow would be too bright and unnatural looking but there your lizzies do a test model and see what you think

I think something like THIS will help you out a lot with this scheme. Yellow is a tricky color to work with, but if you can make it work, it looks great.

 

I used the yellow paint from the foundation set and this is how mine came out. Its very blurry but I'm working on getting some better pictures done.

 

What colors did you use for that? I like that Lizardman.

 

I love my yellow Skinks personally. I'm painting a second unit right now that will be blazing orange.

Edit: Tried adding a picture but it says my images may only be 1 pixel wide? Not going to get much detail that way but here's a link with images.

I decided to do a the same desert theam. This is for the saurus though.
