For a skink command its easy to make a champion but how would one go about making a musician or standard bearer
You can actually find old skink command models on ebay. I have a couple now. Before that though, I made my musician using the drum from a saurus kit. Musiciain: Standard bearer using an extra spear from the Cold One Cavalry: You can find them on ebay new (in the blister): http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-B...h=item232602b81c&ssPageName=RSS:B:SHOP:US:101 Or used (they are metal so they are easy to strip): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Warhammer-Lizardmen-Metal-Skink-Command-Models-T01-/251073663776 I think if I were to buy them, I would go ahead and spend the extra cash on the full set. However, they do not really match the newer design of the current skinks.
They look a little strange and i wish i could upload some pics of em but i took the arm and snake standard from thd cold pne riders to make my standard bearer and i took the drum arm from the saurus and put that on and i also glued half the drum of the cold ones to his waist to look like he is carrying it.
The exrta standard from the Stegadon work great, they even come with a compatable skink arm that works with either banner.
I had a lot of luck with a Skink Standard made up of gear from the Stegadon model. It's got the "Pole" Skink Arm with the half-circle thing with all the skulls on it, a little three-tiered plank thingie hanging underneath it, and the plank is holding the other half-circle (the one with one skull and a spike on each side), combining to form a pretty good-sized banner for such a little guy. I'm quite pleased with it, though the darn Skink is actually SMALLER than the regular Skinks, making him look weaker than the rest of his unit, annoyingly enough.
The worst part is trying to rank the standard bearer cuz one little touch and he falls then everyones screwed up....
