Hey do I need to be reviewed or something before I post a picture? If so, please be patient with my self!
Use the Pic tags, not the Img tags. If you are pulling the link from photobucket or something similar, use the Direct link instead of the IMG link. Using the Direct link withing the Pic tags works here.
Ok guys, finally gonna upload pics of my army! Thanks a bunch for being patient with me! Sorry in advance for crap pictures! Saurus champ, my favourite job so far! The saurus lined up. Skinky chief! Skinky priest! Top view of a saurus. Terrible view of standard bearer! Thats all for now, hope you think they're good!
looking ok for a TTS mate, i would giv you guys a blue wash and then a drybrush to really add depth to the models, also on the gold try a brown wash and again highlighting would help add that extra shine other then that looks ok so far
Thanks for the advice man, I've been thinking of a blue wash for my imperial guard, so will probably get some! A bronze/brown wash would give an extra depth to the gold. (since my ancient pot of shining gold is pretty messed up)
hahah yer mate no worries hey, a blue wash will do wonders for u but rember to drybrush over it to really add that realistic look =)
umm 1sec i can take afew pics and upload them for u if u want BRB haha OK so i use lothern blue for my drybrushing, thats prbs one of the only GW paints i use tho and pics are hard to get ATM cause its late arvo so will try and find one hahah yer im gonna hav to get some pics and upload at a later date mate soz hahah
OK guys, I'm back after a long break with my first cold one. He's actually a scarvet cowboy, but same thing in painting terms. Oh and by the way, sorry for crap images. Also, blur in corner of pics is due to my Nexus's case. Thanks for looking, lizardmen98.
I am really impressed with the fact your experimenting and bold with your colours, i like to see broad pallets in armies and yours will be very nice when done! You could try a very light dry brush of GWs skink blue to bring the ridges into relief but i think your well on the right tack!
For some reason I was obsessed with drybrushing whilst doing 40k and now I always forget. I still remember it as an awesome technique though. Thanks for the advice, lizardmen98. Oh and I will also be uploading pics of bastiladon soon.
