Hi. I would like to present my Lizardmen Army and do a little blog about it.. I have chosen a little bit of an unorthodox paint colorscheme for my army.. Hope you enjoy.. Heres a little bit of a story regarding them. "Kai'Tzatl, "a forgotten Slann", a devoted follower of the god Xokha, The spirit of stone, the giver of strength and the Arbiter of Duty. Kai'Tzatl was banished long ago by the Slanns of the known world for being Fanatic in their way of waging war.. The Slann decided to withdraw to a very distant part of the jungle where he found the Spawning pools of Loq'Tzatl. For many years the Slann used his powers to gather and train the Warriors of the Loq'Tzatl into fierce regiments of Saurus Warriors, Dangerous Cold one riders and Devoted Templeguards to protect the Slann and guard the temples of the god Xokha. The Warriors of Loq'Tzatl are known for their yellow skin and their purple scales which are not usual in the world of Lustria. It is said that in ancient times the pools were touched by the god Xokha. Xokha's pressence and the gods magical powers was absorbed by the pools and thereby changed the genes of the spawnings. This is believed to be the reason of the yellow skin compared to the rest of Lustria which is inhabited by the usual blue skinned Lizardmen. The Slann who was banished so long ago started to make his pressence known by attacking the Slann who banished him long ago and thereby claiming his rightfull place as a respected Slann of Lustria. The Slann became known as Kai'Tzatl. "Kai" meaning "Forgotten" and Tzatl was taken from from the sacred pools of Loq'Tzatl. Be aware whart parts of the Jungle you venture into.. If you find yourself surrounded by yellowskinned Lizardmen you have already ventured too far.!!"
Kai'Tzatl.. The Skinks have to have their Scales changed to Purple to fit the new paint scheme.. but thats easy
Saurus + Bases... Again the Scales are being changed right now.. I found out that the Green was 2 blending in.. besides the scales of my monsters will be green (youll see).. (After the purple Scale change )

hehe I must admit i have been here before.. and there is also another Topic somewhere.. couldnt find it tho (1 year ago".. and also.. the entire slann clan is starting its new life with the new colors..) I hope thats ok Thomas.
That warpaint looks vicious! What kind of heroes are you going to field? I'd love to see a scar veteran on a carnosaur with those colors.
Not nearly getting there yet It will come tho Plans are to be able to feild almost any kind of Army.. Meaning.. also the heroes etc Next hero to be fielded will be a normal scar vet tho.. Right now working on unit fillers for my Temple guards.. fielding a vicious looking for the front line.. 1 Temple guard charging up a bit of ancient ruin.. with one crawling over it next to him... (The top from the Bastilladon..). Not the best picture.. but hopefully you get the idea.. he will look like he was walked up the piece of ruin going back.. it will be 2 models counting for 3.. but hopefully it will look awesome enuf for people not to care
While painting cores to fit the new paint scheme i had to do something different.. started to work on my bases and unitfillers for my Temple guards.. and created this one.. Feel free to comment.. It was a hell to change to pose of them Feel free to comment..
Nice looking stuff here. I'm really liking your paint scheme. Very fond of the striping on your saurus.
A little update.. Worked on the unit filler for my Templeguards.. Leg is being painted when Temple guard is ready I then created a small champion for my Saurus unit.. I looked at the old one and was like.. nooo.. took some bits and parts from coldones, temple guards and a saurus and made this.. If you look at my bases in post 1 then you can see that it has to have left food raised.. there fore the special base here Foot is converted to be lifted.. Hope you like it
I thought we'd continue a bit Here you go.. Hope you like my Stegadon Conversion couldnt fit 5 crewmembers so decided to make one of them a drummer instead Hope to hear your comments
I love that remark But it looks cool tho G i hated that very bare forehead of the Stegadon and you must admit.. it looks good?
Re: Kai'Tzatl, The forgotten Slann Returns (stegadon update) And we have an update for the stegadon.. Sry for the picture quality but couldnt be bothered to set up something better
