8th Ed. 1 or 2 slaans?

    Hi,

    I was wondering if in a 3000p game i should be using 1 or 2 slaans? Ive been running 3 units of 30 saurus, a few skink units, engine of gods, 2 scars, some sallies and im not sure if i should concentrate on some more magic.

    from what ive read it seems that the engine is useless against goblins and that i should drop it for a slaan. If i do that, would it be worth dropping a saurus unit for a skink priest and some more skinks?

    Thankyou so much for answering all the questions ive had so far. (im abit amuture at the moment :p )

    One tooled up slann is as good as two slann for 2400 but at 3k i'd go for 2 slann just for the flexibilty of lores. Give each 2 disciplines rumination + becalming, mystery or higher state. You can fit bane head + cupped hands on the death slann and make the other the bsb with +1 leadership. Drop the engine it is extremely sub optimal in general. I'd also make the saurus units 2 40's and spend the rest of the points on more skinks

    definitely double slann @ 3,000. camo skinks are always a good addition too.
