Correct. In a doubles event you alpha strike with the Rippers to kill whatever big scary things your opponent brought. Then you spend the game summoning and playing objectives while your ally deals the rest of the heavy blows. When I ran this my partner brought a Stonehorn Frostlord and 2 Stonehorn beast riders. So we out dropped our opponents and then would alpha strike one of the two off the table turn one
