Hey all, Some friends and I have decided to give Triumph and Treachery a whirl. This is also my first time playing small points in years, so my small points meta is pretty out of date. This is my first swing at a list: Skink priest - lv2 beasts, dispel scroll Scar-vet - LA, ironcurse icon, enchanted shield 24x saurus - sword and board, full command 2x10x skink skirmishers - jav and shield Solardon Salamander - w/snack Salamander - w/snack I'm not totally sold on the hero setup. My first inclination was to build a super choppy oldblood general, but from what I've read, a bsb is higher priority. I'm used to fielding terradons and chameleons, but I know we'll have a loaded table (6 players!) with little room for manoeuvres or scout deployment. I'm also concerned that my solardon will quickly become a pincushion for bolt throwers, but he's freshly painted and I'd like to keep him in the list. Does anyone have any opinions on what units shine in T&T?
I have played one T&T in my WHF career so I'm not sure what is or isn't good there. I am currently of the opinion that T&T lists should generally be built around the same guidelines as normal lists (barring mercenaries which opens up exciting new worlds). If this were a regular 1000 point army, I'd say, "try to figure out how to make your Scar Veteran a BSB" You don't want your Saurus Warriors or Solardon to break and run if you can avoid it.
