    It's not a tournament but bragging rights are on the line here :)

    1000 points among friends. Here's my idea:

    Scar Vet
    -Halberd (as opposed to a two-hander for initiative)
    -armor of destiny
    -shield (because I could spare three points at the end)

    Shammy
    -lev one
    -spell banning scroll

    19 Saurus FC

    10 Skirmishers

    10 Skirmishers

    Stegadon

    6 Chameleon Skinks

    1 Sallie + snack

    998 points

    I might take out the Saurus Champ and take the plaque of Tepok for my shammy. Actually I will do that...

    I run something fairly similar at 1000 points. It works well against pretty much everyone.
