8 x knights of the realm, full command
    29 x men-at-arms, musician, standart bearer

    Deployment
scarvet with saurus in the center, skirmishers at the right of them, Bastilladon with salamandra at the left

    Turn 1

Bretonnians started to pray to the Damsel, and my Chameleon Skinks fired at the Knights of the Realm. Unfortunately, no victims.
    My army moved forward.

    Turn 2

At the right flank knights charged my skinks skirmishers. I stand and shoot, but Brets killed all but one skirmishers without losses. But that gave an opportunity to my sauruses to charge, so they did it.

My BSB challenged brets general and made one wound. Saurus won combat, but failed to overrun, so they moved almost to the border of the table.

Damsel casted her wissan's blessing at men-at-arms and moved forward (she successfully casted it every turn).
My oldblood used potion... and failed charge to men-at-arms.
Bastilladon killed 2 peasants with laser beam.
At the right flank my salamandra breathed at cavalry, chameleon skinks shoots at them.. But they killed only 2 knights! Old Ones, damn their armor and ward saves!

    Turn 3

At right flank brets general with knights reformed, and were charged by sauruses. Sauruses again won combat, brets broke, and there was no skink near to say "guys! do not chase them!". So, my BSB and main saurus block gone from table to the next turn.

Men-at-arms made 2 wounds to Bastilladon, and he failed to strike back - all 3 wounds that passed through armor failed to pass ward save - 3 sixes on 3 dices. Wow...
General charged men-at-arms, sorc rejected a challenge. Killed few of this peasants, but they stayed.

    Turn 4

My sauruses returned to battlefield, but they were too far away from combat...
Brets BSB charged Bastilladon and killed him =( Then they overrunned to my general and wounded him.

Brets rejected my generals challenge, and again some Lady of the Lake magic - my gereral failed to do any wound! So he lost combat and ran away. Was caught and slaughtered =(
Peasants overrunned to Chameleon skinks. Skinks killed lot's of peasants, but was slaughtered too.

    Turn 5,6

Brets were running from my saurus block

    Game result: draw

    Final thoughts:

Salamandra is nice monster, but vs weak footman blocks, not vs heavy cav. May be Kroxigors will help?
Chameleon skinks are nice guys! I'l use them next time too.
Bastilladon showed himself as a solid monster. But... May be Arc of Sotek is better? That 1 Init bonus is useless (even unded have more initiative anyway) and Beam of Chotec is not so powerfull. (question: if it was casted with irresistable, can in be casted again on the next turn?)
Saurus Warriors: really a backbone of my army. But they need a skinks somewhere near them.
Oldblood on coldone: not good as roamer - he need to be stubborn for that. But, i'l think what i can do next time.

    That's it.
It's my second warhammer game in my life, i will be glad to hear any advices.

...Ssheq-Ctli washed the blood from his sword. He was tired and angry. His general, Kssa-Khar was heavily wounded, and his cold one was dead. Ssheq-Ctli must continue his way to the Qu’ittax, but this apes on the horses blocked his way and then ran away. Ohh, Ssheq-Ctli will make a talisman from the head of that witch. Ssheq-Ctli grimmly smiled, looking at bret ape head in his hand.

The beam is innate so it can be cast even after IF.

The +1 I bonus is useful but as you note doesn't help against most troops for fighting purposes. But wait until someone casts a purple sun or pit of shades at you and you lose half the guys you lost previously! Besides, your bringing the solar engine for the magic missile anyway.
