Slaan-cupped hands-Focus of mystery(death)-320 Gor-rok-215 Skink priest-65 32xSaurus-champion,musician,banner 2x Salamanders-150 24x Skink skirmishers (Units of 12)-140 10xTemple guard, musician, bearer(armor piecing banner cant remember name) - 1500 (cant remember exact points of saurus unit and temple guard but it added up) Any tips help or advice if this will work would be nice Thanks!
Give your temple guard a flaming banner, and 10 temple guard will get annihilated. they'll never last long enough to do anything. drop something to bulk them up to 20 guards at least. Honestly, you should prolly do full command in the TG unit, and just go musician/bearer in the saurus unit. Also, lizardmen special characters are generally overcosted and not worth it, but it's up to you whether you wanna play them or not. In a competative list you'd never have any of them, but sometimes they are fun in games with friends and stuff.
Typically, named hero's arent worth it at all, and unfortunately Gor rok is no exception. You could easily make a scar vet better than him for much less. Also, you dont seem to have a BSB, in 1500 taking one is pretty standard, as it lets you reroll failed LD tests What I would do is drop Gor rok and put in a BSB scar vet: Scar vet L.A shield BSB That racks in at 118 points, on top of that you could give him a magic banner or a magic item or 2. That in my experience is way more worthwhile than a named hero. Sticking him in the saurus aswell makes them pack more of a punch! 4 strength 5 attacks? yes please! With any left over points, I would really buff up the number of TG. 10 of them might not offer enough protection for the slann. 16 tends to be the minimum I would allow my slann to be with, but ofc 20 is a better number As for lore of death, Im not such a fan, Saurus do so damn well when you give them WS10 and I10, with a side of Always Strikes First and +1 attack. Light or life are normally the way to go Other than that, Its a nice strong list, 2 sallies are a solid choice, and a good amount of skinks. GL with the list!
Thanks for the advice questioning Gor-rok now but does he give the no special bonus from charges to the unit or if they just charge him by himself
That's been FAQ'd, if the opponent charges him and he's in a unit, they only lose bonus' against him, so if they have lances, against the rest of the unit, they get the +2 strength, but against him they don't get the bonus strength. Nobody will attack him, just the unit he is with Its unfortunate as the fluff behind Gor rok is amazing
