PS: This is my first post on the forum and I am glad to be here.
Welcome to LO! I've got a couple of thoughts on your list: Slann looks solid. What lore are you going to use with him? Scar-Vet has too many weapons. I'd drop the spear. Possibly give the Priest a Dispel Scroll or the Cube of Darkness. How many Saurus are you putting into that block? There is generally no need for a Brave with the Skink Skirmishers. That'll save you a few points. I'd rather give the TG Champ a magic weapon or Venom of the Firefly Frog. Your Slann and Priest will be plenty of magic for a 1500 pt game.
I wouldn't use that many heroes in a 1500pt game, maybe lose the skink chief (could add an extra salamander).
Thanks for the advice, the Saurus were going to be 16 saurus in a 4x4 formation. I believe that if I remove the braves the the value for points in core goes below the minimum required. I think I will replace the Skink Chief with a salamander and dispel scroll though. Nice point. The Temple Guard Champion was just going to be a distraction/harasser to draw the dispel dice out early (mostly form the WE) in that I could throw a dice into it and a 1 or 2 would not matter but a 3+ would cast. Also it is not subject to broken concentration. That was the plan anyway. Thanks again for the feedback and I hope that helped clear up any questions.
Just a thought, Saurus in a 4x4 formation won't get any rank bonus, you would be better off with 5x3 and then one at the back (it's annoying that they sell them in boxes of 16 not 20, as 5x4 is better).
