    this is my 1500 point instore tourney list
    the main thing i will be dealing with are choas/ beast armies
    so magic wasnt somthing i was concerned about,
    i will post how the large unit of cold one knights do
    as people seem to be against large units



    Scar-Vet
    cold one
    light armour
    piranha blade
    spear
    enchanted shield

    skink piest
    level 2
    2x Dispell scroll

    14 Cold one Cav
    Full command
    banner of Huanchi

    20 saurs warriors
    full command
    spears

    16 Skinks with 2 Kroxigors

    3 Jungle swarms

    Switching 1 dispel scroll for Diadem of Power is probably a good idea, especially at less than 2000 ponts.

    14 SC in one unit? :jawdrop:

    If I were you, I would have split it into two units, or maybe taken one unit of 6-7 and 1 stegadon/ancient. Then you would have had a terror causer too, a useful weapon when facing horde armies and such.

    Also, its a waste to have both a magical weapon and a spear on your Scar-Vet. The rules state that as long as a character has a magic weapon, he is required to use it before any other weapons in close combat.

    To many eggs in one basket.
    Easy to out manouver and one failed stupidity test could easily cost you the game.
    Imagine your opponent force a panictest on you cav and you fail.. That would be devestating!
    You need more units IMHO.

    On the other hand, its hard to tackle to breake your line.. Swarms will hold, and both your saurus and CoR is strong in numbers, but I think its abit over the top..

    If you are up against chaos, any Giant would be an extremely dangerous foe and your saurus could easily be stuck in a static CC with Chaos Warriors. If you then choose to flank with your CoR, they will expose their flank, and you don't whant chaos cavalry to hit that flank...

    I agree with aparach and I think that you should think about a stegadon and a couple of skirmishers or terradons. Also I think one or two hunting packs of any kind would be a great addition to your army for some flank protection annd shooting.
    the other option would be to make a cavalry army with less skinks and saurus split the cav unit and try to squeeze in an engine of the gods. for your priest.
