I made this for a couple of end-times style campaign games at my local GW on 4'X4' boards, based on small broken up Lizardmen forces trying to escape to the pyramids and meeting on the battlefield to defeat the enemies in the way. Lords: Slann(life) -Channeling staff -Harmonic convergence -Ironcurse Icon Tehenhauin(beasts) Heroes: Scar-Veteran -Great weapon -Gamblers Armour Core: Skink Cohort x24 -Command -Poison Saurus Warriors x22 -Command -Sword & Board Rare: Ancient Stegadon -Horns & Stampede Salamander -Snack Tehenhain goes in the cohort and the slann and scar vet goe in the saurus, scar vet being placed first so there is no room on the front rank for the slann making him sit in the second rank, forming a "poor mans temple guard"!
Looks reasonable to me. I'm not totally sold on taking the Skink Cohort without Kroxigor in it. Taking those same models as 2 units of 12 Skirmishers would net the same points and you make you army considerably more agile. Kinda leaves Tehenhauin open, but then again I've never used him in 8th. He might be better off on his own. Let us know how it works for you!
