Thanks for the help
I would always put the saurus in the middle, it gives you a good strong, dependeble core, and I would give your scar vet the sword of might, as that helps with both the wounding roll, and the -1 to armour saves. Also use your spare six poins to give your skirmishers a brave, you may as well.
On the topic of your Scar Vet, are you aware that the Maiming shield will most likely not stack with either sword? Sword of Battle is my preference for the simple fact I don't have to roll the shields attack seperate, this would give you 6 strength 5 attacks, handy to support the saurus, the other option Id maybe look at is Enchanted Shield and one of the swords you mentioned to get a bit more protection on your general. I used a similar skink priest In a 1250pt doubles tournament, I found he was best run alone and either racing him in circles around enemy units to keep out of LoS or just parking him in a forest and just using him for Dispelling. Deployment wise things will really depend on terrain, you'll need each saurus to have a clear run at the enemy and enough room for your support units to manouver...
