Hi all! I was making a list against Khemry army. There'll be Sphinx, skull-throwers, casket of souls, couple of archer units and maybe snakes waiting under my feet... That's what I was thinking about: - Slann, BSB, Lore of Death, Focus of Mystery, Harmonic Convergence, Soul of Stone - Scar-vet w/ CO, AoD, GW - 25x Saurus Warriors (FC) - 10x SkSk - 5x Chameleons - 3x Ripperdactyls - 3x Ripperdactyls - 16x Temple Guard (FC) What do you think? I'm afraid of using Xerus but there's always a first time. Thought of heavy core and movile units to machine-hunt (like catapults and casket), but I don't know what to do against Sphinxs.
If you can squeeze in a jungle swarm, then the TG will get poison and that will bring down a sphinx in short order if they get into combat. With the new rules for undead however, I would be far more worried about terrorgheists, hexwraiths and other vamp based units showing up in the "tomb king" army.
We're not playing with End Times rules, so, vanilla Tomb Kings. I made a change, Slann for Kroak and Skink Priest in the SkSk instead of chameleons. That will make me able to throw Itza everywhere. And the Scar Vet is on foot in the Saurus unit, BSB.
You say you are not playing End of Times rules, (which i also prefer) though playing 'vanilla' wont alow you to use kroak as he is more than 25% points of your total army, to use him you would have to field 1600 points and over.
