7th Ed. 1k list

    Since in my first match with lizards I liked the magic, i sort of went magic heavy on this list. do you think i should make room for more skinks?

    The biggest problem with this character set up is the high risk of rolling bad spells and a large part of how the game will play out is determined when you roll for spells. On top of that your general is a W2 T2 2+ save guy with LD6, but scar vets doesnt really increase the LD much anyway.

    I would give the foot priest Cloak of Feathers and/or Rod of Storm to make him harder to kill and giving him a little extra punch in the magic phase. Cloak + Power stone could work in case you roll comet.

    14 is a very strange size for skinks, you can drop them down to 10 if you want to give the rod or cloak to your priest. Over all the list seems a little character heavy, and lack throw away units and chaff. When you decide to go to 1250 or 1500 pts I recommend adding some more skinks, sallies / razordons, and a unit of terradons.

    If you drop four skinks and two saurus it would give you enough points of cloak and rod for your foot priest. I might also suggest grabbing a dispel scroll (never leave home without at least one).
