sadly wont have accurate numbers for the otehr side but I at least know what units. lizardmen Leaders: Scar vet with crown of command and enchanted shield skink priest RROR and dispell scroll, spells rolled for 5 and 6 but dropped 6 for signature spell core: saurus x 30 with full command Skink skirmishers x10 special: 7 chameleons with stalker rare: Salamanders x2 Orcs: Leader: Savage Orc Shaman not sure about others as they never came up Core: Savage orcs full command and spears Spells were signature and the big foot thing...yea Night gobbos with 2 fanatics Black orcs not sure what they were but doesnt matter lol Mistakes I know I made. should have said screw crown of command and took the +2 attacks sword or some such. I might have done better but my opponent was insanely lucky with his ward saves on the savage orcs. deployment we pretty much lined up across the battle field from my left to my right it was basically Saurus facing savage orcs skinks and priest facing gobbos salamanders facing black orcs, chameleons in a watchtower abit up field next to sallys turn 1 we moved forward slightly and he used gaze of mork to try and take a chunk out of my lizzies but killing only one saurus. I tried to cast comet of casandora failed and completely forgot to use the RROR first so I lost concentration and couldnt use my other two casting dice blech. My salamandars roasted a lot of night gobbos but they did not run Turn 2. stinky foot thing killed most of my skinks then came down a second time and killed a salamander a challenge between my scar vet and the savage orc champion ended in a draw I still lost combat. turn 3 I finally killed the champion in a duel but still lost combat...this time running. that mostly sums up this fight lol The real downside is most of these guys are vets with like 5 armies so it's tough to learn from my opponents when the next level they will use a completely different army lmao
I may be wrong in saying this, but I don't think that a 30 man unit of Saurus needs stubborn, as they 'should' (How many Savage Orks did he take?) have steadfast if you don't have them in a horde. I personally think the plaque of tepok is a better option than the rror because you are likely to get a damage spell that way (I have had two games in a row where I didn't get damage spells this way, but magic can be very unreliable). If he had lucky ward saves then that may have tipped the combat in his favor. I'm not a vet (so take their advice over mine), but I know where you are coming from.
