slann + focus of mystery + harmonic convergiance + dispell scroll + cube of darkness + channeling staff sarus warriors x 30 + full command skinks x10 skinks x 10 bastiladon x 2 ( solar engine) temple guard x 10 terradon riders x 3 terradon riders x3 ripperdctyl riders x3 ancient steg + sharpened horns strategy: basically i want just chip away at my opponents numbers with the skinks/bastiladons/magic/drop rocks and force them to come to me. the terradons are there to make sure i can counter cannons and warmachines alike. the ripperdactyls are more od a suicide mission unit, with there main goal to find the opponents mage bunker and blow it up. my only response to large monster is stegadon with sharpened horns and magic, monsters may be tough for me. thats basically it, i am brand new to tournament play but i have been playing with some select friends for nearly a year, that being said my strategies are very limited. any advice on how this wouldnt/would work would be much appreciated. thanks.
I edited your list to remove the individual points values. Total army points is okay but GW frowns on unit points costs being displayed online. List is a solid concept, but I would recommend boosting your Temple Guard quantity to at least 16. I'd advise dropping a Bastiladon or the Focus of Mystery to help pay for more Temple Guard. 8 spells plus two bound spells is a little overkill. You aren't going to get mountains of power dice every turn. Also, your Slann has three arcane items, a single wizard can only have one arcane item (rule book page 172). I recommend sticking with the Channeling Staff. Dropping the Cube of Darkness and Dispel Scroll is three more TG and some change.
