    One problem, they are not legal lists. In 2250pt battles you can have a MAX of 4 characters and one of which may be a lord. In both your lists you have a lord and 4 heroes. Other than that looks good enough for me :D

    Ah crap, I took it to mean 4 heroes and 1 lord, not 4 altogether! I will revise my lists then. I never had a problem with my dwarves as I would only ever take 3 characters max, so I guess I always assumed that it was 4 heroes and 1 lord... Oh well... Back to the drawing board. :smug:

    If you could take five characters in a 2000 pt battle then TK and VC would be able to spam spam spam their ownage. :p

    For this list I dropped one of the priests and added 4 TG for a total of 14.

    The highlights are changes. I dropped the Lvl 2 priest and the scimitar of the sun on the lord. I then added the Blade of realties to him and added a salamander for the last 75 points. The salamander will advance with the skinks for protection as there is only one and provide fire support.

    RAAARGH, stegadon! Stomp stomp bluuuarggh! Me Stegadon, me smash, run from me puny humies.... wait, what's that?

    A GREAT CANNON!!! 'ulp, nope that's it, I'm dead "thwump".

    Now granted stegadons are more resistant to cannons and bolt throwers then giants, bone giants, and dragons, but not as resistant as hydras. (due to the 5+ skink save)

    Really though, why do you need 3 stegadons? Against most armies that could easily be auto lose, two great cannons, tons of jezzails, 4 bolt throwers etc. What really gets me about it is that stegadons aren't really any better then just throwing some saurus cav at the problem. Mostly because against things that don't break (demons, undead, other undead, stubborn units, lizardmen....mostly) then you will have a second round or third to fight, and saurus cav can stick in there and pound face in later turns, whereas a stegadon without impact hits is much less threatening, and could even just lose in later rounds.

    EOTG and the war spear is strong, but might lose you comp, and 3 stegadons of any kind might get you called something poor.

    Yea the multi-steg list is really a rock-paper-scissors list. Not to mention gauranteed bad comp and nasty smirks from other players. But hey warhammer is a open-ended hobby adventure so your certainly free to do as you please within the confines of a legal list.
