    Hi guys!

Im looking to make a 2.5k list to become my standard list that I will take against most opponents.
Im trying to go for a list that is fun to play with, doesn't rely too heavily on skirmishers (I already have a wood elf army), and can take advantage of these buffs we get from our new units.

I am by no means an experienced lizardman player, I played a few games last edition and won or drew all of them. But I took my first defeat with the 8th rulebook, so im looking for some advice on how to play them in this new era.

My list so far looks like this:

    LORDS

Slann - Focus of Mystery, Harmonic Convergence, Channeling Staff, BSB

    HEROES

Skink Priest - Dispel Scroll (in Saurus)

    CORE

    40 Saurus - Full Command

    11 Skink Skirmishers

    12 Skink Skirmishers

    SPECIAL

20 Temple Guard - Standard Bearer

    2 x 2 Jungle Swarms

    Bastiladon - Ark of Sotek

Bastiladon (Undecided on what he will carry on his back)

    3 Terradons

    RARE

    Ancient Stegadon - Sharpened Horns

    Trogladon - Divining Rod

    1 Salamander

    Total: 2506

Arriving slightly over on points, please let me know what you think of the list and how you think I could use it / improve it.

    Cheers!

Please Please Please cut the Troglodon. for the same points you can take just about any combination of other units to do its job 5 times better. Other than that, you have 3 monsters that are very vulnerable to cannons and no warmachine hunters. so 2 Chameleon skink units of 6 should be in those newly gained points. now you have about 59 left. personally i would drop both skink units to 10, and then you should have exactly enough points for another salamander!

EDIT: just noticed that would drop you below minimum core. so idk what to do with those ~60 points, but thats your choice!
