    Hey guys, im trying to make a good competitive list, I'm currently sitting at 2446 points. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

    Lords

    1x Slaan Mage-Priest
    Focus of Mystery
    The focused rumination
    The becalming cogitation
    Cupped hands of the old ones

    Using Light magic and placed in temple guard unit

    heyya

    for the slann to be the ultimate build (with light) you still need standard of dicipline it divides the chance of fleeing by 4 at 15 points
    use remaining points on saurus so that you have 2x25 with full com
    and then for the last points take the luckstone for priest
    you might want to change the saurus to spear saurus as lore of light is more offensive than lore of life were the hand weapon saurus are the best you would then have 2x24 with mus and banner toping at 30 attacks hittting on 3s rerolling to hit and striking with S4 while the saurus you have now max at 20 attacks
    if you make them spears or not is not really important but the rest is pretty important
    and 2 of your sallies have to be in the same pack because of the max 2 identical rare units and keeping them in one pack is not as good as 2 because they cause panic by 1 wound

    Alright thanks for the suggestions, I bumped the saurus units to 24 and added spears. I also took the standard of discipline. I still have a few points, any more suggestions?

    Do you guys think I have enough troops?

    Also wondering if units of 5 chameleons are anygood?

    Is two groups of salamanders ok?

    do wounds cause panic? the way i read it is: loss of models causes panic, pretty sure that Sal wont panic unless the hit kills a skink. So... taking 1 extra skink in a unit of a single Salamander is good. because the loss of 1 skink wont cause panic.

    In a related matter: a misfired Sal that eats skinks--would that cause panic?

    I'm going to post this in the rules section as well.
