I found the magic items I used on the internet, so if anyone can tell me 100% what they do, that would be greatly appreciated
A pretty good list. I am going to assume that you are taking Lore of Life. I would probably drop the cold one cavalry and add some salamanders with the extra handler. Also, the weapon that grants WS10 is called the fencing blades (and adds an extra attack).
How do you use sallies? I have tried fielding one against some Tomb Kings. I placed them in front of some Ushabti, hoping do do some damage. I had an argument with him over how many got hit. I said one hit, 2 on 4+, he said 2 on 4+. We rolled and he won :/ Only one wound was caused until they charged me, he magiced up some extra combat phases and I died. It was VERY messy. I'm guessing use it against rank and file troops and NOT elite troops. Any other advice? And how many? 2? I only have 1 :L And I already need to buy an extra unit of saurus and skinks :L I'm very new to the hobby I didn't read about the extra attack... pretty good for 35 points :L And yeah, i'm taking lore of life Bringing back dead troops is awesome
Under the new edition, anything partially hit by a template is hit automatically. No more 4+ and he is hit. The best way to run the salamander is in a unit of at least 2 (I like 3 myself). Then march and shoot (under the skirmiser rules, they can march and shoot). An even better way to use them is to fire across you're opponent's flank (or into a horde unit). They are awesome. Never leave home without them.
They sound pretty awesome. I may have to stumble across a lost wallet with £100 in it though to afford everything now :L But christmas is coming (eventually) so I may have to wait. I'll get the rulebook as well.
