7th Ed. 2000 point army for combat

    Well, i've thought about a list made for combat, but there's no carnosaur here, didn't know how to fit it in the list.

    Here is the list:

    - Saurus old blood + Light armour + Enchanted shield + Sword of might + Glyph necklace + Cold one = 250 points (this would be my "good for everything" character, as it has an armour save of -1+ and a ward save of 5+, wich due to his toughness, should be ok to support charges)

    - Saurus scar-veteran + Light armour + shield + Piranha blade + Bane head + Cold one = 163 points (to hunt characters and singular units due to his strenght and because he is able to convert a single wound in four)

    - Saurus scar-veteran + Light armour + Shield of the mirrored pool + Burning blade of Chotec + Cold one = 160 points (GENERAL) (in the unit of cold ones)

    - Skink priest level 1 + Diadem of power + Dispell Scroll = 115 points (defensive wizard)

    - 11 Skink skirmishers = 77 points
    - 10 Skink skirmishers = 70 points
    - 10 Skink skirmishers = 70 points

    - 3 Kroxigors = 165 points
    - 3 Kroxigors = 165 points
    - 5 Terradon riders = 150 points
    - 6 Cold one riders + Standard bearer + Huanchi's blessed totem = 255 points

    - Ancient stegadon = 275 points
    - 1 Salamander + 1 extra handler = 80 points

    TOTAL: 1995 points

    So, as you can see, the army is going to be used trying to get flanks and backs from the enemy, and for that purpose we have the skink skirmishers and the salamander (and if it is necessary, even the terradons) to redirect enemy charges.

    The kroxigors and the stegadon are the support for the cold ones, wich are, as you can see, my "hammer unit".

    The salamander and the terradon riders are going to be used either supporting charges or redirecting enemy units, depending on how the enemy moves his units.

    So, i know it may not be highly competitive against a full magic army, but i had to sacrifice something in order to pay for all the combat units.

    What do you think? Would yo change something? Thanks in advance for the advice.

    Another thing (i almost forgot). I've never used the War drum of Xahutec, would you get it for the old blood instead of the glyph necklace? Thanks again! :)

    not being an expert or anything i can see 1 1/2 problems:

    1st would be the skink priest, being lvl 1 only allows you to store 1 dice with the diadem as he has to use "his own power dice" so basically you have 4 dispel dice, if you upgrade him to lvl 2 you get 5 dice and 2 spells to cast. its true that you only get 2 power dice bu it might be usefull from time to time

    the other 1/2 problem would be that character killing scar vet... 1W=4W? unless you ar hunting a GUO you are better with the blade teh way i see it. he might be better off with something else
