I just started my lizard army this week and played today with a good amount of success against Brets. Here's what I ran. Slann Focused Rumination Becalming Scar-vet BSB Light Armor Jaguar banner cold one Skink Priest L2 EotG Skink Priest L2 Cloak of Feathers 15 Saurus FC spears 15 Saurus FC spears 10 skink skirmishers brave 10 skink skirmishers 16 Temp Guard FC venom of the firefly frog 2 Salamanders I have some unnecessary stuff like the venom and skink brave, but i had some random points left to spend. One saurus unit held up knights errent for 4 turns and won. The other got into massive combat; charged by grail knights, who were flanked by Temp Guard, who were flanked by knights of the realm, who were flanked by the salamanders. Magic was awesome. EotG killed 5 grail knights, some men at arms... Everything performed fantastically. Im working on a 2 EotG list for a tourney. So far its the same as the one above but no salamanders, 1 unit of skinks, no scar-vet (slann is bsb), a unit of 20 saurus and 18 temp guard. Its gonna be brutal. Let me know what you folks think.
Think your list is well rounded and you got units that fill out eachother pretty well. Would probably go for a scroll vs the cloak, and give the scar-vet a spear or shield..
yeah, I thought of that too. Given the extra +2 armor save and higher movement, you loos 360 degree line of sight and gives stupidity to the unit you join.. I would maybe have tweeked the pts to give your slann the cuped hand of the old ones..
