Playing in a league vs 2 Ogres, 2 skaven, dwarves, WOC, Dark elves, and TK.

    I am going with:
    HQ
Slann, BSB, +d6 per casting, mastery Life, becalming, diadem, crown of command
Scar vet sword of choetc sp? -2 on save, light armour, charmed shield dawn stone
Skink priest iron cursed icon in saurus if facing heavy shooting list

    Troops:
36 saurus hW shield full command
    2 x 10 skink skirmishers
24 skink 3 krox full command
    Special:
    5 x chameleon
    6 x chameleon
    3 x krox
    Rare:
2 salamanders extra handler in each

Playing pretty much what I have painted.
Most of the lists are balanced. The dark elf one was close to one I almost brought (yes I do play dark elves as well) but I thought it was a bit dirty. You know it the double hydra, chuck norris, dagger mage etc.

What I am looking for is a little insight on tips or things to watch for ex
I will use the scarvet vs chuck, if the skink rolls comet I will have it out of a unit and do the roll 6 pray for IF, wondering about. Things like deployment styles, what to do vs dwarves its a ranger heavy list so mobile w good antimagic.
    Thanks!

The diadem of power is a poor choice on a slaan, because you dont want to take away any of his precious power dice, replace it with a dispel scroll.

You really want ethereal on a slaan who is going into close combat, i mean characters are bad enough but if monsters and normal infantry can also have their go, he is gonna go down fast.

The scar vet would really benefit from a cold one.

The skink priest is a waste of points, take the points for the cold one and ethereal here.

3 kroxigor by themselves are generally a bad choice and not worth their points, try and add an extra couple of salamanders and the standard of dicipline on the slaan. The standard of dicipline reduces your chance of failing a leadership test by about 70%, yes thats how much it does! For the price of a temple guard it is ALWAYS worth taking. You could switch the standard of dicipline for the flaming banner against the hydra and aboms, but normally you want your skinks to go against them, so i think the standard of dicipline is better, but that is entirely dependable of the skill and armies of your opponents.

    Lords:
Slann, BSB, standard of dicipline, higher state of consciouness, focus of mystery (life), focused rumination, becalming cogitation, dispel scroll, crown of command.

    Heroes:
Saurus scar-veteran, burning blade of choetc, cold one, light armour, charmed shield, dawn stone.

    Core:
    36 saurus warriors, full command.
    10 skink skirmishers.
    10 skink skirmishers.
24 skink 3 krox full command.

    Special:
    5 x chameleon skinks.
    6 x chameleon skinks.

    Rare:
    salamander hunting pack, extra salamander.
    salamander hunting pack, extra salamander.
