    Wardens of Tlax

    Slann, bsb, mystery, rumination, higher state, crown of command, cupped hands, dragonbane gem
    lv1 skink priest, cube of darkness

    6 units of 10 skink skirmishers, blowpipes
    3 units of 10 skinks, javelins and shields

    3 units of 10 chameleon skinks

    2 units of 3 salamanders, extra handlers

    2000 points

    Slann uses lore of light, any thoughts, suggestions?

    I like any skink army! I think the only thing that I would probably change is I would take more cohorts than skirmishers and maybe add 1 or 2 Kroxigors to those cohorts to give them a little more power.

    I would also probably not take the cube. Just a dispel scroll would do. I usually do not even take that (the slann's level 4 and becalming usually takes care of the other caster). Becalming cogigation is a must have for your slann as well. Denying your opponent his 6s in the magic phase is very good. Just make sure that if you take it you get the slann within 24 inches of the target caster.

    I did originally take becalming, but with pre measuring people generally move away, and to be honest i want my opponent to miscast because then they damage their unit, as noone ever has characters on their own against me. I am thinking about cohorts as I have too many skirmishers and they often block each other from shooting, would probably take 52 with two kroxigor...6 wide and 10 deep and drop 3 blowpipe units and 1 ten man javelin unit...cube is there to maybe shut down a phase where they have 11 power dice and i have 6 dispel etc....use it on the first spell, if passes ive stopped the phase if fails, hes used three dice and the piles are evened out etc........
